About the Doctors

Thomas A. Gordon, D.D.S., F.A.G.D
General Dentistry

Dr. Tom Gordon received his fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007. He graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, San Francisco, in 1973. He completed a mini-residency in esthetic dentistry at UCLA and an advanced fixed prosthodontics and occlusion course at the Esthetic Professionals Dental Education Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Kern County Dental Society as well as the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Gordon and his wife, Diana, have three daughters and enjoy skiing, cycling and scuba diving.




Greg Hanford, D.D.S.
General Dentistry

Dr. Gregory Hanford graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Loma Linda, California in 1982. He received the American Academy of Oral Pathology Award for outstanding achievement in the discipline of oral pathology, and was conferred membership in the honorary dental society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the Kern County Dental Society. He is a native of Bakersfield and has been practicing in the community for over 25 years. He and his wife, Joan, have one daughter.

Randy L. Beemer, D.D.S.
Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Beemer has specialized in treating children since 1992. A graduate of the USC School of Dentistry in 1983, he completed a pediatric dentistry specialty residency at the Oregon Health Sciences University, School of Dentistry in Portland, Oregon in 1992. He served as President of the Kern County Dental Society in 2004 and maintains memberships in Kern County, California and American Dental Associations, as well as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Beemer and his wife have three children and enjoy cycling, traveling and quality time with their family.

Robert J. Lytle, D.D.S.
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Lytle attended the University of Southern California Dental School, graduating in 1998. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Louisiana State University in 2003. He performs oral surgery including extractions, dental implants and bone grafting. Professional organizations include the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Academy of Osseointegration and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr Lytle and his wife, Lindsay, have three children.





John L. Lytle, M.D., D.D.S.
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Dr. Lytle graduated from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1983 and School of Dentistry in 1987. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the USC Medical Center in 1990. He has worked as an Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the USC School of Dentistry. Professional organizations include the American Medical Association, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Southern California Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.





Scott R. Adishian, D.D.S.
Prosthodontist

Dr. Scott Adishian graduated from the USC School of Dentistry in 1979 and received a specialty certificate in Advanced Prosthodontics from the USC School of Dentistry in 1982. He immediately joined the full time faculty at USC for the following 5 years and has continued on the part time faculty since. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Dr. Adishian has coordinated all aspects of patient care so that multiple specialities may work as a unit, striving for the most efficient and comprehensive outcome for patients requiring implant, cosmetic, and prosthetic dentistry.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association SGV Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics and the Academy of Osseointegration. Currently, Dr. Adishian is the President of the S.G.V. Dental Society and serves on two boards of directors at the USC School of Dentistry and on the peer review committee of the American College of Prosthodontics. Dr. Adishian has lectured locally and internationally on the topics of implants, full-mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry.
